Editorial boards

Creation and oversight of content for each XML.org Focus Area site is provided by an Editorial Board. Participation in these groups is open to all members of OASIS.

For information on joining an existing XML.org Editorial Board or starting a new Focus Area, contact OASIS Communications.

Sponsoring a Focus Area

Funding for XML.org Focus Areas is provided by select members of OASIS, the international standards consortium. Focus Area site sponsors are recognized as leaders in the open standards community, and their support helps to education, sustain, and grow markets for standards-compliant products and services.

Language options

OASIS seeks to better serve the international community by providing content for XML.org Focus Areas in as many languages as possible. The XML.org interface, which is based on the Drupal open source content management platform, supports a variety of languages and character sets. Registered XML.org users are able to set their viewing preference to any supported language.

OASIS strongly encourages all volunteers interested in translating XML.org pages to contact communications@oasis-open.org.

1. Collaborate respectfully.

Those who post content to wiki pages should be aware that their entries may be modified, criticized, and edited by others. Changes should be viewed in the spirit of improvement and open debate. Editors are asked to be friendly, civil, and supportive. Personal attacks are not tolerated.

2. Stay on topic.
